Kerry provides specialist consulting and engineering services to the electrical industry as the sole Director of K-BIK Power Pty Ltd. A background from electrical power utilities and manufacturing underpins his engineering skills in high voltage transmission and distribution power systems & the ability to develop strategies for whole of life asset assessment. He advises on the implementation of asset performance improvement strategies. He has lead power system engineering teams, specialist field teams, performed reviews of HV asset management processes & systems, specialises in HV forensic investigations, leads power research projects, lead design & construction projects and introduced new power system technologies and improvements.

Kerry has and eye for detail and unique talents in forensic failure investigations. He performs detailed root cause analyses on significantly damaged HV plant by studying the internal and external influences that cause an event. His understanding of the mechanisms that lead to events enables him to generally identify the root causes and make recommendations for future preventions. He has authored numerous engineering papers on forensic investigations and asset management, implementing systems and processes for condition monitoring and the prevention of asset failures.

Kerry is the immediate past Chair of the Engineers Australia Qld Electrical Branch, and an Electrical College Board Member. He is a past Australian National Secretary for CIGRE and is an individual member of the Australian Power Institute. He is an individual member of CIGRE A2, A3 and B3 panels and is the Engineers Australia committee member for Standards Australia Electrotechnology and Energy Committees.
